Regina Bellora started her career in Pilates in 2001. Not an athlete or a dancer, Regina took the long road to understanding her body to find balance. That in turn has given her a passion to help people connect with their bodies in order to build a strong foundation. This has lead to a diverse career spanning the United States and Europe, she has taught the art, philosophy and movement to thousands, from beginner to advanced.  Regina strives to get her clients to move with precision and strength while having some fun along the way!  Regina is classically trained in Pilates and is a certified Yamuna Body Rolling Practitioner.

REGINA BELLORA

Melissa is owner of Transitions Massage Therapy, LLC. A graduate of The Healing Arts Center of St. Louis in October 2010, Melissa is state licensed and nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She uses an integrated massage by blending healing techniques to create a massage experience tailored to your individual needs. Her blended techniques are derived from Swedish massage, Myofascial Therapy, Shiatsu, Deep Touch, Reiki and Pranic Healing, among other specialties. By using knowledge, expertise and intuition, along with your requests, we will create your unique session.

 

As a business owner, a wife, mother of four, a massage instructor and a Dance Fitness instructor, she knows what it’s like to juggle a busy schedule and then try to find time for yourself. Working out has always been hard for her to do.  Melissa has always had a passion for dancing, so Dance Fitness was a perfect opportunity for her to have fun and get in shape. Massage and Dance are Melissa’s escape. This is her time to better herself, so she can be better for the ones that depend on her. Let Melissa help you with your escape today!

 

About US

Studio Synergy instructs the classical method of Pilates.  Pilates instructors at Studio Synergy have been certified through world renowned training programs including Romana's Pilates (A highly intensive curriculum developed by Romana Kryzanowska, protege of Joseph H. Pilates) and Core Dynamics Pilates (A teacher training program dedicated to Pilates history, principles and mindful movement).  Students of these programs undergo hundreds and even thousands of apprenticeship hours as well as a multitude of rigorous tests to ensure that they are teaching the safest, most effective Pilates possible in the way that Joseph H. Pilates intended.  At Studio Synergy, you will receive professional instruction from experienced instructors.

 

Studio Synergy maintains a client-oriented environment.  All classes and lessons are customized for the students present.  Each workout will be different based on the students’ needs that day. You will leave the studio feeling and looking better.

 

 

Jen has been instructing the authentic

method of Pilates in St. Louis since June 2006.

In addition to instructing at her own studio, she has lectured at the Washington University School of Medicine to Physical Therapy students.  Jen attended the U.S. Naval Academy from 1997 to 2001, where she earned a degree in Systems Engineering and was selected as an All-American Rugby player.  Upon graduation, she was awarded a commission as a Surface Warfare Officer. During her tour of duty she served on two warships based out of Norfolk, VA, as Gunnery Officer and Auxiliary Officer, respectively.  Later she became the Protocol Officer and Aide to the Commander Naval Surface Forces U.S. Atlantic Fleet, a two-star Admiral.

 

A lifelong proponent of physical fitness, Brokaw discovered her passion for Pilates while training at a studio in Virginia Beach, VA, where she decided to change direction with her life and pursue Pilates as a profession.  She trained in the Authentic Method of Pilates under master teachers Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Mejia-Santo, completing her certification in June 2006.

 

A native of St. Louis, Jennifer and her husband, Cullen, moved back to the area in January 2006 and currently reside in Imperial, MO. with their three children.

Lisa Norris

Lisa Norris has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor since 2007. She enjoys working with all ages and abilities, but also has specialized training in Senior Fitness and Yoga. Lisa has many clients with chronic conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s and MS. She works with these clients to improve balance, range of motion, and improve their overall quality of life.

 

Lisa can also help clients lose weight, increase their strength and flexibility, and improve their performance.  She meets with all her new clients to discuss their goals and develop an effective plan. Her passion, knowledge and experience in exercise and nutrition can help you reach your goals.

In 2017, Tammy completed her training and education as a Board Certified Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner-CAHP with a special focus in the holistic field. She studied under Dr. Angie Roberts-Ates, Naturopath, Master Herbalist and founder of Academy EPIC. Dr. Angie brings over 25 years of experience to the field. Prior to her formal holistic training, she followed the natural path of alternative healthcare for over 20 years. Faced with her own health challenges, Tammy developed a passion to expand her personal knowledge of integrative medicine.

Tammy has also earned a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University. Her professional experience includes 20 years in Higher Education as an academic advisor at Jefferson College in both Hillsboro and Arnold, Missouri. She has a servant’s heart and attitude and enjoys empowering those around her to take charge over their own healthcare.

 

History

Joseph H. Pilates developed his method of

"Contrology", later to be called Pilates, in the early 1900's.  His more than 500 exercises have helped generations to become stronger and more flexible.  The benefits of improved posture and balance as well as longer, leaner muscles are a direct result of the synchronizing of both body and mind that Pilates creates.

Massage therapy dates back thousands of years.  It's many benefits include decreased anxiety, enhanced sleep quality, greater energy, improved concentration, increased circulation and reduced fatigue. The massage techniques used by Transitions Massage Therapy, LLC are hand picked for each client to meet the individual's needs.  Most bodies need deeper work in some areas of tension or tightness and lighter work in other areas.  Your mental and emotional state may also affect what type of massage you prefer on a given day.  A weekly one hour massage will unwind all the stress that a day can produce in your mind, body and spirit.
